EP 052: Coffee Chat: Business and Investing Updates

I have been getting a few questions about what I’m personally doing atm.

Am I still investing?
Have I sold any investments?

Is a recession coming?
How is the business performing?
What am I focusing on next?

Anyhow,

The uncertain environment has left many people unsure if they should keep doing what they are doing or if they need to make some changes to their plans.

Which is a great question to ask yourself at least once a year!

First up,

I will mention that you should not be looking at what I do as the source of truth.

DO NOT blindly follow me as my personal situation and stage of life are likely very different to yours.

Nonetheless.
I will share some updates here.

On a personal note.
I moved house to be closer to Melbourne CBD.

Why?
To capitalise on the immense amount of opportunity I see in business.

I have been here for nearly two months, and the networking alone has made the move worth it.
My income has increased significantly by being in the right environment for my business.

Not to mention all the delicious food options. 😋
The family is loving it also.

When it comes to business.
The business environment is the best it has been for me in a long time.

Particularly in 2 areas.
Recruiting and content marketing.

Our content is performing the best it ever has.
(Big thank you to those who tune into the show.)

We have been able to hire more people in the last two months than in the last two years!
It has unlocked a huge amount of capacity in the business and the ability to grow again.

We have also brought on a brand manager (Hazel) to take the full stack to the next level.
Which excited me a lot as she is far more talented at content than Grant and I.

On the investing front.
You will have to wait on this update for the next update email. 😜
